Weir Minerals Netherlands has a production facility in Taicang, China. The company's continuous focus on strategic growth regions is strengthened by the decision to being closer to the Chinese market and its growing number of end-users of GEHO® pumps. In Taicang the smaller range of GEHO® types ZPM and TZPM piston diaphragm pumps is assembled and tested, as well as bare shaft GEHO® type ZD well dewatering pumps. Weir Minerals stringent component selection and supply chain is optimized to suit the needs of the Chinese market, still ensuring the highest quality standards as used in all GEHO® PD pumps. Also Weir's high safety and environmental standards are applied. The Taicang facility is also a key element in executing GEHO®'s after market objective to enhance customer relationships by ensuring quick spare parts supply and excellent services for the installed GEHO base in China.
